College of Media application and information sessions

The College of Media will be holding 3 Informational Sessions for students that wish to transfer into the College of Media for the Spring 2013 term. Please attend one of these sessions if you have questions about the application process or the majors of Advertising, Agricultural Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Media and Cinema Studies and News Editorial Journalism. Attending a session is the BEST way for the students to get all their questions answered by the College of Media Student Service Center. There will be academic advisors there to answer any questions after the presentation. (The same information will be covered at each session, students would only need to attend one.)

Please note that the deadline for all applications is Sept 27th (Thursday) by 3:00 p.m.

Applications are NOW available.

The sessions will all be held from 4:00-4:50 in 319 Gregory Hall.

The dates are: September 10th, 12th, and 20th.

Interested in Law?

Pre-Law Services is transitioning from an e-newsletter (which used to go out every Monday) to a blog format. This will allow them to provide more frequent updates without filling anyone’s inbox, and it’s easier for users because it is both searchable and archived for easy reference.

Please check out their blog, located off of the Pre-Law Advising webpage at
http://publish.illinois.edu/prelawadvising/ . The blog will be updated frequently, and will still cover helpful information about the application process as well as sharing details about campus and community pre-law related events, articles about the legal profession, book reviews, and lots more.
